Dr. Philip Bresnahan received his Bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1981. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1985. He completed his surgical residency at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Bresnahan was an Assistant Professor of the Department of Podiatric Orthopedics at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for 13 years until 1999 where he specialized in pediatric foot and ankle disorders. He was awarded Diplomate status from the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in 1990 and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. In addition, he held the position of President of the American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics from 1994 to 1996.
Dr. Bresnahan is a nationally known speaker and has written several journal articles. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association and the Bucks-Mont Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Bresnahan is on staff at Grand View Hospital. He has been in private practice for over 20 years.
